M 408s??

<p>I signed up for this class at orientation. The advisor said to take it if we think we did really well on AP AB CALC (I didn't, but I plan on studying before school starts).</p>

<p>The thing is, there's no info about the professors - anyone know who they are?</p>

<p>Also, it says it needs a prerequisite of 408C, 408K, or 408N. I don't have those but I could still register for the class. Would a 4-5 on the AP test give me credit for the prerequisite?
Would you say it's okay for a freshman to take the class?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure it would be fine. I haven’t taken it myself, but one of the professors’ websites says that it’s just integral calculus. That sounds reasonable, considering plenty of freshmen take courses such as M408D and M427K, which are both multivariable calculus.</p>
