M.Arch after B.E Civil makes both as professions?

Hi,
I am currently a high school graduate and about to join University and having some problems choosing subjects to major in. I am really interested in colors, design, interior and exterior decoration, architecture and its history and also engineering and building aspects. I used to think of becoming an architect. But now, I have to think of Civil Engineering too as I also want to understand all the building aspects, not only housing, more than architectural field. Then I was advised to take Civil course as a bachelor degree and then get an M.Arch after the B.E(Civil). What I want to know is whether it is a best choice for me (a girl) to specialize in CE or Architecture as the first degree. And after .E (Civil), can I get a direct M.Arch and work as a CE and an architect at the same time? Thank you very much!

You will most likely work as one not both. Have you looked into architectural engineering? Do you already have a school you are going to or are you looking?
