Hey everyone, just wanted to let you all know about a wonderful engineering program that MIT offers- the Women's Technology Program (WTP).

The website is wtp.mit.edu, and the summer program is open to current junior girls. I went this past summer and it was an awesome experience! There are two different tracks- Electrical Engineering/Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering. It's a four week program, financial aid is available, and you stay in a MIT dorm next to the Charles River and Boston! It's a great way to get exposure to engineering and see if it's something that you might want to do in college. It can be pretty intense sometimes- I had three classes a day with labs in computer science and electrical engineering, but the girls are amazing and it was really fun- I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if I could! I think there's a few of you on CC applying already, but the deadline is Feb 1 for anyone who wants to apply.

If anyone has questions, feel free to ask.
