M.S Acceptance Rates

Anywhere that I can find the acceptance rate for M.S programs? Are they higher than undergraduate admission rates? I am most interested in HYPS.

generally they are higher than the admissions rates of their undergrad. schools: so the average for HYP would be around 16-20 %
For Engineering:

[World Science & Engineering University Portal: America’s Top Engineering Schools 2008](http://www.universityportal.net/2008/04/america-best-graudate-engineering.html)

Thanks for the link broncosfan. I’m quite surprised even at Stanford the acceptance rate is so high at 28%, Purdue and Georgia Tech in the 30s too.

Prospective MS and Ph.d students contact their prospective professors to discover if professors have openings, funding, and matching interests. No percentage in applying to schools when there are selected/limited or no openings.

Their acceptance rates are high because they have such a large graduate dept.
