M.S. Aerospace Engineering MIT/Stanford

Hey guys... I am an International Student currently studying Aerospace Engineering at Virginia Tech. I'm a Sophomore and I would like to know what do you guys think about my chances to get in M.S. programs such as MIT and Stanford.

My cumulative GPA is 3.79 and my in-major GPA is 4.0. I'm minoring in Mathematics and Leadership and Social Change. I'm also enrolled in the University Honors program to graduate with a Honors Diploma. I'm a little bit concerned about my work experience. I haven't done any internships so far. I'm planning to do a summer internship (hopefully Boeing or Airbus) summer after junior year.

Also, I'm going to start working as a Undergraduate Research Assistant for one of my Aerospace professors next semester.

What do you guys recommend me to do in order to have a better chance?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds like you are starting off well. Just maintain your grades and aim for doing that research and internships as often as possible. Good luck!
