Does anyone know roughly how many people apply to the M&T program? I can't seem to find those statistics on the internet.

Thanks :D

I can't find them either. I applied to M&T too. Hey, I wonder what the yield would be. Although I love Penn and M&T, if I got into Stanford, there'd be no question!

i dunno how many apply, but i heard they accept 70-75 and then 50-55 matriculate, so about a 75% matriculation rate.

dot510's statistics are the only ones they publish. They aim for a class of ~50, which usually means accepting 75 - 100. They don't publish the applicant pool size.

(However, it's smaller than you'd think. The applicants are very self-selecting).

I managed to come across some statistics for quite a few years back... and the number of applicants were ~750.

AH! I want to go to M&T so much!

Oh well, no point in dwelling over it I suppose. Decisions in a week and change.

You can still do a dual degree in engineering/wharton without going into M&T; it's just 3 or 4 extra classes

^you miss out on a lot of the opportunities that dual-degree programs give to students though, like internships and stuff. but i guess you could always seek those out yourself if you try hard enough?

Really hope i get in because this program is exactly what I need for my future goals.
