Does M&T program allows you to pursue computer science and Wharton experience? Curious
positive
Yes, it does.
Some students just major in CS and then add some business courses in Wharton. Often they go back for an MBA at some point.
I am talking about http://www.upenn.edu/fisher/about/vision-mission. What I have been told admission to U Penn is much easier as compare to admission to Wharton, and admission in Gerome Fisher Program is even more difficult compare to Wharton.
“The Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology will continue to be the preeminent dual degree academic program globally providing future leaders with exceptional opportunities to combine engineering and business knowledge in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to important commercial and social problems.”
@f2000sa positive?? yes
Admission to Wharton is slightly more difficult than admission to Penn, but not as much as most people think. I would certainly not use the words “much easier.” I would estimate that Wharton is about 7% admit rate and Penn is about 9%. You are also correct that Fischer M & T is more difficult to be admitted to than Wharton.
Yes, you can choose computer science in engineering and whatever business major you want in Wharton for the M & T program. You can apply to M & T and also apply to engineering or business as a second choice, if you don’t get into M & T.
For a second choice, I would tend to lean toward engineering because engineers can add business later, but it is more difficult for a business major to decide to add engineering later.
JMHO
