Hey guys, brand new to the forum.

For those of you who have been interviewed for M&T, I'm curious as to what your experiences have been. I've got my interview on Friday this week and I'm trying to prepare for it.

For those of you who have been interviewed for M&T, I'm curious as to what your experiences have been. I've got my interview on Friday this week and I'm trying to prepare for it.

I’ve decided to revive this thread…

I just had my interview 30 mins ago. I think that was the best interview I’ve ever had, we vibed, and it was so cool to just talk! So now i’m really excited.

hahaha I literally JUST had my interview 30 minutes ago as well. probably my best one yet out of 5, he was very interesting and fun to talk to. I was pretty scared before though, because of some of the stuff I heard from other applicants. I guess it all depends on your interviewer. I usually get interviewers who are older than 60 years old for some reason, but this time he was in his late 20s, so maybe that’s why it was more fun.

Here’s the thread about some other people’s M&T interview experiences:

What you guys probably don’t realize is that interviews count for very little in the decision making process…

No, I’m pretty sure I realize that. It’s good that they don’t count for much anyways, because there can be such a huge discrepancy in interviewers. But it’s just nice to get excited about a certain college, you know?

haha. I’m fully aware that interviews don’t count for much. But atleast they count for something! :)

Mine was great as well. My interviewer seemed like a very bright fellow and he asked good questions and I had good stuff for him too. Definitely my best experience so far.

to those above, I think the M&T interview def counts as something, well, at least more than “very little.” it seems that only reasonably qualified applicants get interviews and they root people out according to interest. i might be wrong though, but thats just what i think.

I never did an interview…still got in RD
