I didn’t write the optional essay, and I got accepted!

I do encourage all applicants to write the optional essay. However, if an applicant already covered his personal traits (which he should have done through every other essay), he should not write a boring essay just to complete an optional requirement. To keep it short, if an applicant can write a good essay, he should write. If he can’t, he shouldn’t.

Oh nice! xP
Well then, I stand corrected. You don’t have to, but I think it’s fun to try to do something creative in that 150 word space. My friend made a rap, and I made an acrostic poem like a 7-year old kid. We both got in though :D
