placed on the Alternate List…well, damn.

found out today, was an unexpected yes! so happy right now. now i have to figure out how i’m going to make my final decision…

I got my letter today and it is a yes!!! I’m really happy. BTW, I live right outside the twin cities in Wisconsin. I’m a National Merit Finalist and I haven’t recieved anything about financial aid…hopefully soon? Congratulations to everyone else!

My son was placed on the alternate list. Disappointing. I didn’t go to college myself so this whole experience is new to me. He’s such an amazing student, I was really hoping he’d get in. Best of luck to all those accepted!

Letter came today in FL, got rejected. Ah, well.

My daughter received her acceptance today!

Best wishes to all of you. You will end up at the right school for you, whether it be Mac or someplace else.

for the people who got in, didn’t,

where are your credentials??

D got waitlisted. 3.95 GPA UW. 2030 SAT (2070 superstore). Letter was very nice though!

I got in. 36 ACT, 3.9 UW/4.17 W, solid but unspectacular ECs, spent sophomore year abroad (focused essays on foreign affairs, which probably helped).

Did any int’ls hear back from them? please message me…

@zhiyioakdal I don’t think any international decisions have been sent yet.

Accepted. gpa 3.5uw, 4.43w, act31, awesome ec.

@skyrunner

Does anyone know what the chances of getting off the waitlist are?

OMG. YES. I am so ecstatic. I don’t know if it’s because I waited ages for this second acceptance or I’m just that excited for Macalester but anyhow I’m dancing around the room!
