MAC 2311 and CHM 2045

I'm just wondering if anyone has opinions about Prof. K Williams for CHM 2045, and Prof. Ying Guo for MAC 2311

K. Williams is known to be an odd bird and been around way too long. Mitchell is excellent for CHM2045. If any of his sections are open, I would try to get in his class. Make sure you check ratemyprofessor.com or is it ratemyprofessors.com and also google search your profs name…also check UF professor evaluations from the ufl.edu/ISIS page. My daughter had Williams for intro to chem in 2006 and had to drop the class. She said Williams always wore a very strange jumper/dress with a sheep applique on the front. : /

What about Gower?

I think I heard Gower was pretty good…check ratemyprofessors.com or ISIS instructor evaluations from past semesters.

And Kozinski? He seemed to fly through some notes today

For MAC2311? He only had a 10 minute lecture in my class…On RMP he has not so good ratings :(

Is there any other professor for the sections of calc 1 for engineers? it doesn’t seem like it. and Williams doesn’t seem so good…sigh

I think you might have to take Kozinski for Calc 1 if you are in engineering. My S had him last fall, and I was worried because he had really bad reviews. But, he turned out to be OK. Remember there is tutoring for free in the rear of Broward dorm: <a href=“Academic Resources – College of Liberal Arts & Sciences”>Academic Resources – College of Liberal Arts & Sciences;

Also, tutoring zone(you can find them on Facebook) is absolutely excellent but costs a bit and is off campus [TutoringZone - UF - MAC2311 - Calculus I](http://tzuf.tutoringzone.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=9)

Good luck!
