<p>so, do you think it's worth the extra 300 bucks to get the aluminum one?
i'm getting a new laptop for college.</p>

<p>Nope… 300 bucks for aluminum? I doubt that it’s look or heat reduction properties are worth the extra cost. </p>

<p>Macs are luxury machines :(</p>

<p>For a thousand bucks I’d get a laptop with a high end dual core, 320GB hard drive, 4G of RAM, and a pretty high end discrete graphics card over any Mac. </p>

<p>Your money, your choice though… :)</p>

<p>I’d go for the aluminum. On the white ones, the place where you rest your wrist can crack REALLY easily (if anyone knows what I’m talking about). Plus, you don’t want scratches, do you?!</p>
