I'm going to be a freshman next year, and I'm going to be majoring in Computer Science. Should I get a MacBook Air/Pro or should I go with a Windows PC? Which is better and why? Also money is not an issue. I'm just looking for what would be the best to use. Thank you.

Going into CS, I would recommend a Unix-based OS. This includes both Mac and Linux. For introductory stuff, Windows is probably fine, but I can think of very few people who choose to program in Windows unless they are doing something Windows-specific. If you want the simplest to use option with no fiddling, go with Mac. Personally, I enjoy the features and configurability of Linux, so I’ve opted to replace Windows with Ubuntu on my laptop. Your CS professors will likely be using Linux or Mac, not Windows.
