Mac or PC?

Mac. I’ve been using my Macbook Pro for a while now and I definitely prefer it to any PC I’ve used in the past. I find Macs easier to use and on a slightly shallow note, I think they look pretty.

Most people that use macs use them because they are trying to look sophisticated and nonconformist, but end up conforming to that idea. Go to your local Starbucks and you’ll see them.

The only people that should be using macs are people using its superior editing programs for a professional/school purpose. Otherwise, PCs are the way to go.

Mac is the best.

Uhmm nope. They feel nicer and are easier to use. Plus I get a lot more for the hardware.

Go for the Mac . I’m a PC guy forever and look forward to the new Windows 7 os. But in college you want to be working on your projects and not playing with a new system quirk. My S 1 year old PC died 3 weeks into school and I had him get a Mac. When I got the PC home it turned out to be a bad memory stick that caused it to start going quirky and then to the blue screen of death. Easy fix for me, but a pain. Because Apple controls both the hardware and software they take more pride in the overall build. At an average of twice what a PC costs for the same build I will stay with my PC, but when reliability is an absolute must then the extra cost for a Mac is worth it.

Vista came out right after my old PC broke and, having experienced both Vista, on my father’s computer, and Apple’s OS X, I decided to stick with Macs. Maybe Windows 7 will be nice, but now I’m used to Mac.

The idea of “if you don’t like Windows, go to Linux or your a materialist” is just silly. Linux takes knowledge many aren’t willing to gain and time many aren’t willing to give. Besides that, if one is interested in having certain programs on the computer, it takes even more time and more knowledge. If you don’t like Windows and you have the money, it’s far easier to go with a Mac.
