Macalester College: Chance Me *cringes*

<p>Hey there, I'm not sure if I want to apply to Macalester College just because I have a feeling I won't get in. Now, let's not be too brutal, please :-) Oh, and is it possible to tell if I could maybe get into St. Olaf College too?</p>

<p>Residence: Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, moved to Atlanta, Georgia halfway through high school
GPA: Overall is 4.07 (W), Core is 3.83 (W)
ACT: 28 (Eng=28, Math=28, Read=28, Sci=28)
Rank: 36/460 (I know, not very awesome)
AP classes: I had to wait until junior year to take these classes/exams.
11th: AP World History (5), AP Psychology (5), AP Eng. Lang. (4), AP Stats (3)
12th: AP Biology, AP Macroecon, AP US Gov, AP Eng. Lit.
Extracurricular:
9th: Dedicated member of German Club; National Forensics League, primarily an Orator
10th-11th: Worked part-time (23 hr/wk usually for 9 months); Dedicated member of German Club; Volunteered here and there
12th: National Beta Club (volunteering-15 hr/yr); National Honors Society (30 hr/yr); Interact Club (volunteering, 2 big service projects per year)
Awards and Honors:
9th: First place in Beginner's German Poetry at Nebraska German Student Convention; Certificate of Merit in National Forensics League; Became a Millard Honors Student (School district honor) for performance in German recitation
10th: Placed 15th in the state of Nebraska for score on the AATG National German Exam
11th: Became an AP Scholar with Honor; All American Scholar Award; AP Psychology Student of the Month</p>

<p>yeah, i know it’s low when speaking in terms of schools like this
i really don’t have time to take the SAT though since i am getting really busy with everything else :frowning:
