Accepted! I only got a 26 on ACT and even lower for SAT, so for anyone applying to Macalester next year, don’t give up hope if you don’t necessarily have the highest scores. Got really good financial aid and invited to the spring sampler.
Anyone else accepted without any financial aid offered? I’m kind of surprised – didn’t think we’d qualify for need based aid, but wasn’t expecting to be asked to pay full price.
Accepted with a 16k DeWitt scholarship. Congrats to everyone and good luck!
Any international student still waitingggg for decision?
Yes! It’s taking so long!!
So it will be released on Sunday then? The email says “by Sunday” hmm… is there any hope it will be released sooner?
@ambitious07 No, lol. I don’t care.
@ambitious07 Me! Unfortunately… :’( Does anybody know when they’ll be released?
im just asking for fun lol, deep down im pretty sure it’ll be out on Sunday and not before that.
They said 26th.
@mundanewarrior By the 26th. It would end up being the 26th, however.

accepted - international student!
Who all got in?? I got in and I am very excited.
Thought I’d share the story ending for DD.
Accepted w/ 18k/y scholarship.
She decided not to attend accepted students day.
Apparently college size became a concern and given her undecided major, felt more comfortable with a larger school.
Other college she was accepted at were Colby, Colgate, Lafayette, URochester, Tufts.
Rejected at Brown, Colorado College, Northwestern.
Wait listed Bowdoin, WUSTL.
She decided on URochester - 19k/y scholarship.
