<p>What factors have led you to consider Macalester College? Why do you believe it may be a good match, and what do you believe you can add to the Mac community, academically and personally? </p>

<p>Feel free to draw on past experiences, and use concrete examples to support your perspective. Additional writing samples (e.g., class papers or creative writing) are welcomed as supplements, but are not substitutes for either essay. </p>

<p>My essay is 491 words; just PM me and I'll send it to you. Grammar should be good (though feel free to point out my stupid typos); mostly I want someone to review content, voice, and writing. Thanks in advance!</p>

And I never heard of Macalester, is there any prior information I should know about the school? It’s specific academic program you are applying to, etc.</p>
