<p>I'm a senior this year, and am possibly applying to Macalester ED I. Let me know my chances for either early decision or regular admission!</p>

<p>PSAT: 187
ACT: 30 (32E, 29M, 34R, 31S, 9W)- 32 superscored
GPA: 4.2 (I don't know UW)</p>

<p>AP classes taken (and currently taking): Human Geography (4), US History (4), Biology (3), European History (3), Environmental Science (3), English Lang & Comp (4), English Lit & Comp, Art History, World History, Music Theory, Calc AB, Comp gov, Macroecon</p>

<p>Honors/Awards?: Honor Roll, lettered 3 times in academics & orchestra, Italian Student Recognition Award, AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

<p>Extracurriculars/Volunteer: school's chamber orchestra, 1st chair bassist in a local youth symphony, junior counselor at a non-profit day camp, volunteer at an organization that provides free business attire for women in need, Model UN (this coming year), rowing (grade 9 only), nannying over summer, All-State Orchestra alternate, bassist in All-State band</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot! Your scores and extracurriculars make you a competitive applicant. If you apply early, I think you would have a better shot, but I think you have decent chances either way. </p>
