I am applying to Macaulay at City. I am an international student. Is my chances significantly lowered? If now by how much is my chance lowered now? What percent of the freshman acceptances is composed of international students? Thanks. My stats:
sat1: 2250 (780 math 740 reading)
Sat 2: 770 1c, 800 2c(770 the first two times and then 800 third time), 780 chem 640 bio(taken during soph).
avg: 94.6 including fluff classes like gym and relgion (catholic highschool)
APs: My school offers alot (9) but i only took APUSH in junior year and now im taking ap calc ab, ap physics B, ap GOPO as a senior and will send those grades to Macaulay. First quarter for gopo is 99, first quarter ap calc is 97, first quarter physics is 92, second quarter ap calc is 94 but will get that up, second quarter for physics is 92 but may get that up

ECs: Alot about piano (NYSSMA), Alot of tutoring disadvantaged kids, student director of recreation dep. at a nursing home, school/church chorus head pianist 4 years, student director at a community center where i tutor disadvantaged kids, nATIONAL Merrit qualifier, treasurer of a chem club outside of school,
Essays: Not the worst but not the best
Recs: The one from my math teacher was pretty decent i guess, but my chemistry teachers, from what i heard from other students, not the best since he’s not the best when it comes to writing. but he stil talks about my strengths etc.</p>

<p>I know the avg accepted to macaulay was 94 and 1410 but i feel like those numbers would be much different for engineering applicants.</p>
