Hi guys, so recently I've gotten accepted to the 2 colleges listed above. I'm having problems choosing between them. Macaulay provides free tuition and is a prestigious program, but it's a CUNY. GWU is also a great college, but it's private and costs a lot of money. If I went to GWU I'd have to pay $30,000.
I was wondering if the opportunities at a private university is the same as the ones at a CUNY?

Congrats, those are good options. Personally I’d go for Macaulay. GW has a reputation for being overpriced with kids who are kind of snobby. Being in NYC will give you a lot of opportunities no matter what school you go to, and getting a good education from a prestigious program for no tuition is very hard to pass down.
