So i=super dumb. I left my macbooks charger at home this break but remembered to bring the macbook itself-but now it is hungry :( Do any of the microcomputing facilities have like a spare charger on loan which you can just use to charge macbooks on the spot and then return? Im writing this from my phone btw lol in case u were wondering. Any other solutions greatly appreciated as well

Just buy one from the student store. You can always just return it laterz… And it’s never a bad thing to have an extra charger lying around :P

lol First, I thought you were going to ask someone on CC if they would let you borrow it.
Second, no I wasn’t wondering how you were writing this till you brought it up.
Third, you could ask someone that lives in your apartment building or near your house if they would let you borrow it for a little while. Charge it up. And then ask someone else next time. Or hang out with someone who has a charger.
Fourth, you can buy a used one on Amazon if you really want to.
Fifth, you could sneak in the dorms if you don’t know anyone who would let you borrow it because that might be possible! lol and sit in a lounge where people are and ask them. Freshmen are always willing to make new friends : ]

Starry: so they are fine with me opening the packaging on the charger then? (obvious i realize sorry) but i would want to be able to return it afterwards.

^Would you want to purchase a (slightly) “used” charger at an " as new" price? I know I wouldn’t… Please take that option off your plate.

it’s time to befriend your neighbors W4C. :)

Jshain im pretty sure they would return opened items back to the manufacturer

My neighbors are kind of jackasses

“Jshain im pretty sure they would return opened items back to the manufacturer”

I’m not sure why the manufacturer should have to take the hit…

It’s just a charger. Why would it matter if it were used or not? Usually, when people sell USED things they’re basically brand new or in good condition, unless otherwise stated.
