Guys, which laptop should I get??

13… 15 won’t be fun to carry to class

Depends on what you’re doing.

I suggest looking into an Air, actually. Better screen and possibly cheaper. And comes with a SSD out of the box.

13" Air > 15" Pro > 13" Pro. The 13" Pro screen is worse than the Air.

Just get a MacBook Air if you need Mac OSX.

The MacBook Pro 13.3" doesn’t feel like a real Mac computer( low resolution: 1280 x 800 )

I know a student who had the same question, including the Air, chose the Pro 13, and is very happy. The Air didn’t have enough hard drive space.

Depends on your usage. 13 is more portable, but for a cs major like myself, the screen is too small for having multiple windows open

Question for you CS majors: Is Unix favored over Windows, or vice versa, or is the issue neutral?

It’s not “favored.” It’s useful to have Linux, though.

I like the 13 inch as the 15 inch felt unwieldy. I also like the pro more than the air, but that’s just me.

Depends on your use:

Web browsing, document editing, music, movies -> Macbook Air
All of the above + video editing, photoshopping, programming -> Macbook Pro

Maybe get the new Macbook Pro Retina? Almost as thin as air with power with Pro and display that blows everything out of the water.

No college student needs that much power, lol. Though the display is nice.
