MAcc Accounting programs

I have a Bachelors but not in Accounting. I want to not only receive credits for the CPA Exam but I want to also be able to teaching accounting part time either at a local four year college or online. I was looking at a few MAcc programs if anyone can give me some advice for which program to choose online. Any opinions on ACBSP or AACSB colleges? AMU would cost me $7,000 more since I have taken classes there. Franklin $15,000 and Sacramento State would cost >$20,000. AACSB worth the extra price?

As to whether or not AACSB matters…some say it depends on where you are trying to work.

I don’t know too much about the degree itself but my cousin did her Bachelor’s through Franklin University completely online and loved it.

Most MAcc programs only require a science (prefferably business) degree to gain admission. If you plan to teach, no good university will take you seriously for a teaching job without an AACSB accredidation. ACBSP is a joke and is only used for online schools who can’t obtain the AACSB accreditaion because of their lack of research. Furthermore, there are many good accounting firms that will only hire you if you graduated from an AACSB program. IMOP go for an MBA with a focus in accounting or dual degree. It will be more valuable. Best of luck…
