Hey guys,

Strongly considering the UNC Master of Accounting program. Im a poli sci history dbl major from PSU.

After graduating from the program, I would be interested in taking a year off, hopefully to teach. Ive always wanted to teach, and I think I could pass the CPA exam while teaching. I really am not interersted in working 70 hour weeks at a Big4 firm and then coming home to prepare for the CPA exam. So I think taking a year off more or less to just pass the test would be beneficial for me......but would it potentially mess up my employment opportunities? I doubt it, but just wanted other people's thoughts. I would be entering the work force for the first time at age 25 without an accounting undergrad degree (but at least a masters) and no internship experiences. Could I still expect to land Big4?
