Macs suck because of the people who use them.

That I could partly agree on. The one you are referring to are Mac fanboys. They are usually self-centered elitist thinking their platform is the best and Steve Jobs is God.

macs suck macs suck macs suck macs suck.

Again, I don't need to show proof because my opinion is fact and as a result, my opinion itself is proof.

PC- Playing Cards thats what PC's are good for.

i dont like macs because their owners are so think theyre great and everything and they put down PC owners so they feel better about themselves i hate those smug mac commercials

Why no get one and be smug with the rest of us.

you can't switch sides after you say you hate macs

pwn, about the price, you can get a macbook for 999 with a student discount if you're in college, so the point about it being too expensive isn't really very legitimate. if you want an iMac, you can get one of those for just 899. Also, have you taken a look at the new OS coming out in October? Just watch a couple 30 second clips of the features, and if you still think Macs suck, give me an actual reason.

http://www.apple.com/getamac/

All the reasons you need to switch :D

Macs suck? Your face.

Oooooo, buuurrnnn.

ahahahahahahahahahahah

Linux is the best!

pc's can spport better graphics

mac's do have viruses and obviously u will install an anti-virus software........then whats the difference between them?

if u want to argue with the lastest mac systems like the mactopus.......which costs 2 mansions.

Also, the only people who say vista sux r dose who don't have or have never fully experienced it fully.(a vista user and aa happy one at dat)

It makes me feel warm inside to not see an error message on my PC's monitor.

Linux is best. Im too lazy to get rid of XP though.

Proprietary Software Blows.

Windows has, is, and will be for a long time the most widely used operating system. This is because 99% of non-Mac computers sold will carry Windows Vista now. Microsoft's business models, instead of providing a high quality operating system, is to essentially squash the competition. Software Companies want to make $$$ (Which is which proprietary software sucks). They need to sell their software to the largest customer base, which is undoubtedly Windows users.

Then there is the long standing "other" operating system, OS X. Based on the UNIX kernel, Macs are used to provider users with an alternative. The actual quality of the operating system is widely debated amongst Mac and PC fanboys. One of the largest strengths of Macs is the standardization of Mac parts and software. This means that most of the basic software you use on a Mac is created by Apple, so many of your choices in software use are limited. And even if you want to purchase third party software, you are gonna have to pay a lot for it (Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite?).

Granted, there are some open source software that is available for PCs and Macs, such as Open Office, but not nearly enough.

Not many people have heard much about Free Open Source Software, but in recent years, this free software has many significant improvements, sometimes even surpassing that of proprietary software: Firefox > IE7, Apache > Windows Server, etc.

Free yourself from the bindings of proprietary software. Your money is best spent elsewhere.

Disclaimer: Linux is NOT for gamers, but then again, neither are Macs.

Heh, I want to buy a macbook without OS X, but Apple refused. Apple is no more different than Microsoft. More proof that apple and microsoft merger is eminent.

If you don't want it, just format the hard drive and install something else.

I really don't think that Apple and Microsoft will merge, but they both have similar ideologies with regards to business.

But why should I pay $ 120 for OS X then? That's even worst then Microsoft (which refunds money if you don't use Vista that comes with your PC).

Then don't buy a Mac, There really isn't any reason to purchase a Mac if you aren't going to use OS X.
