made 2 mistakes on my UW app :/

And the application is due tomorrow at midnight. I turned mine in already.

mistake 1: Spelled waitress, "waittress"

mistake 2: did not check "yes" or "no" on the question that asked if my parent went to the university. However, it's OBVIOUS that they didn't , because I checked right before the question that the highest education she got was "didn't complete high school." I also didn't put in anything for the section that asked about which colleges she attended.

Are these errors worth worrying about? Can the admissions staff make changes in the app for you even when you already turned it in? The deadline would not have ended though

I thought the app wasn’t due til 12-15. No reason to turn it in quite yet since they changed how admissions are done this year.

I submitted my application without an essay : P. I called and an admissions counselor gave me her email and asked me to send her whatever information needed correcting. She kind of sounded like this kind of thing happened all the time. So yeah, it’s definitely fixable, though I don’t think they’re huge deals but if you want to settle your nerves, there is a way to correct the mistakes on your app if you’ve already submitted it!

@ Isubarudoyou: Merit Scholarship priority deadline is Nov 15th.

Thanks H1ddden! That relieves a lot of stress. I imagine missing an essay is a WHOLE lot worse haha

Honors Merit Scholarship Priority deadline is/was Nov 15. I couldn’t find any reference to a general merit scholarship deadline.
