Ok, so I was doing the supplement for Northeastern in school during a class and it asks for the SSN for financial aid, i didn't have it at the time so i skipped it and accidentally submitted the app. Is there any way i can edit it to get my SSN in? I called their office and they said to email them and they'll fix it, but i emailed them my SSN and commonapp ID number like 4 days ago and they still haven't updated yet.

Question about rolling admission:
When do you typically get a response back from them? I applied to SUNY University at Buffalo via rolling because they had ED and i didn't want a binding school and commonapp says they downloaded my application already. Would i get my decision around same time as the people that ED or a bit later than that?

For the rolling admission question, it depends very much on the school, and occasionally even on the strength of your application. If this information is not listed on the SUNY admissions website, check the CollegeConfidential SUNY forum for past threads (with a google search). I’m sure past applicants have posted how long they had to wait before receiving a reply. Also, you can ask your guidance counselor.

For the SSN question: I honestly don’t know. Lack of SSN will not prevent the processing of your application, but it may cause the estimation of your financial aid package to be delayed.

^Well, it says in parenthesis that the SSN is required for aid so does that mean if i get in, I’ll get no aid whatsoever?

E-mail/call the college you are applying to and tell them your SSN.
