<p>I assumed the primary/alternate option was just listing primary and secondary majors; I listed the same school, College of Arts and Sci, for both but with different majors. Will admissions be angry with this? I realized this mistake five seconds after I submitted the common app...sigh</p>
<p>Don’t fret too much. Call admissions when they re-open from the holidays (Jan 2nd? ) and explain your situation. I think they’re human and will understand

<p>Personally for me, I didn’t want to write two essays so I applied for a specific major in engineering as primary and undecided engineering as secondary. I had no problems with admissions.</p>
