Made a mistake - what is the chance of getting accepted a second time

I was accepted for this term (fall '08) and decided to go somewhere else because of the scholarship. Now I realize I should have gone to UF. I am a Florida resident and have Bright Futures. Is it difficult to get accepted again? Should I wait and try for fall 09 or is there any chance for spring 09?

Have you taken any classes at the other school? UF will not accept transfers with less than 60 hours of course work...

I am in my first semester of college. But for high school, I took all community college courses for the last two years.

UFhopefull is right, if you have a least 60 credits you can apply as transfer, otherwise you'll have to wait until to you hit that number.

I have 58 hours of college credit from my junior and senior year of high school. This semester, I am taking 15 hours. So I assume I have enough hours. Would it be too late to try for spring as I really would like to transfer.

The Spring deadline was Sept. 15. Your best option would be to see if you can cash in those credits for an AA at a community college, since they get preferential treatment, and apply for summer.
