made a mistake....

<p>i just submitted my common app and suppl's.
and i checked them after i submitted and i made a mistake!!!</p>

<p>one was supposed to be "would" but it typed "was would"
and on the other one
i typed the same word twice, like "American" -> "American American"</p>

<p>how bad is this going to hurt my chances??
will they just throw my app's away??</p>

<p>well, i made those mistakes so i don't have anything to say if they actually don't accept me solely because of that, but i was just curious how damaging my mistakes are.</p>

<p>dont worry, they aren't going to throw your app away. unless there is a larger pattern of mistakes, i suspect they won't worry about it too much. two isn't that many.</p>
