Made a rather large error on common app

<p>So I logged onto my common app today just to ensure everything was in order, and I realized I forgot to SUBMIT the common app for Amherst!!!</p>

<p>I submitted teacher forms, supplement, and payment all by the deadline. But now I submitted the common app a day late! It was just a stupid mistake caused by mulitple versions. Now, for whatever reason, the common app still let it go. Does that mean its ok?</p>

<p>All the info was already locked in, I couldn’t change my essay as the same version had been sent to 2 other schools. I just made a stupid mistake.</p>

<p>Should I contact amherst? Should I talk to my GC? Should I do nothing?</p>

<p>Call them ASAP and just explain the error. You should be fine if your supplement was turned in (?)</p>

<p>It was. Have they already downloaded the applications like other schools have? Because that’s what really worries me: it doesn’t say “downloaded 1/2/13” or anything</p>

<p>Just saw this. I wouldn’t worry about the downloads, since I’m sure the admission officers are busy receiving tons of applications, but if it still says that in a few weeks I’d definitely call</p>

<p>Nevermind, just checked again and it was downloaded yesterday! What a relief.</p>
