Made an error in the BU essay

How big are grammatical errors? i just realized i messed up and instead of saying “growing up with parents who are dentists” i said “growing up with parents with dentists” … I know people say one mistake isn’t a big deal, but this error disrupts clarity so I’m wondering. (I’m a transfer applicant)

Before someone replies, just want to say don’t stress yourself until someone who has already made such an error replies here about his/her experience.

I would not worry about it and I definitely would not point it out. One tiny error like that won’t sink your application.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode when Jerry was accused of being an “anti-dentite”.

One small error by itself is unlikely to sink your transfer application; the concern, however, is whether there are additional errors caused by carelessness in your application.

Anyone called for me?
