I went back to my UC app to check something and noticed, for some reason, under “State of Legal Residence” that it says this:
Father/Parent 1 U.S. Citizen: Deceased
Mother/Parent 2 U.S. Citizen: Deceased
Present in CA for last 3 yrs: Yes
Father/Parent 1 present in CA for last 3 yrs: Yes
Mother/parent 2 present in CA for last 3 yrs: Yes
I’m a permanent resident and my parents are very much alive
whoops i didnt finish my thought but should I point it out to the admissions offices for the UCs i got into??? I really didnt mean to put that and I dont want to get my Cal acceptnace taken away ;((((((( please help!!!
Yes, you should
will it change any of my admittances? i really didnt mean to put that and i swear i checked my info again and again…
probably not.
but be sure to correct the mistake.
like it wasnt a lie that i held up throughout all my other apps and stuff, like on the fafsa and stuff i said my parents arent deceased
@menloparkmom thanks! im super worried cause i dont want my decisions to be rescinded because of a silly mistake i made
CALM DOWN.
report the mistake.
it will most probably amount to a great big nothing…
the UC’s dont admit students because they feel sorry for them , i.e, you were admitted because they thought you are an orphan.
It’s not a big deal. Just be sure to fix it before much more time goes by.
