Just keep doing what you are doing right now, stay involved, keep studying, do things that interest you, and if you haven’t already, ask teachers who know you well to write you recommendations, etc.

bump bump bump

You have a reach for sure. You have a good chance. Just make sure your essays are flawless

BTW where are you from?

I’d say you have a great shot! I mean if you need to nail ur subject tests (especially math!), but I can say I’d be surprised if you didn’t get in. Remember though that Wharton is well still Wharton…anything can happen.

thanks for the feedback, yeah that Match II is going down next weekend, I hope I do well enough that I don’t need to retake.

@gotmilklol- I am from Virginia, Hampton Roads area.

Also a quick question, Which one would make a better essay topic for Wharton.

Essay about how my competitive drive in Debate, how to me its just like a sport and that I get the same rush and excitement from doing as a linebacker does smacking a running back (I did play football)

Essay about the T-Shirt company I started, how it is a fusion of my artistic “skills” and goals for the future, also the challenges of the leadership and the trials and tribulations of starting a small company with only 200 dollars (now worth around $750 after 6 months).

^for your common app or the supplement?

There is no better essay topic as long as they both convey who you are as a person. Though i suppose the 2nd may show Wharton things about you that they may hold a deeper appreciation for.

yeah but I think maybe writing about a business might be to cliche and expected, I will try to convey both through the various chances I get, common app and suplement.

From what I listed originally, what is my weak area, or the area that will probably hold me back, assuming good recommendations and decent essays.

I’m leaning towards your tshirt business. Since it does demonstrate a actual business, Wharton will be impressed by it, showing that you actually do have a interest in business.

By the way, how did you actually start that tshirt business?
I want to start a business, but don’t where to start
haha

Well that’s another thing, it is a business but it isn’t on the “books”, none of us are old enough to file for a business license so would that be a problem, we will be getting an official license in November but till then it is just us selling shirts.

Go with the T-Shirt essay dude.
