Made the Payment but CANNOT SUBMIT

So I just received an email from Common App:

"This email confirms the successful payment of the application fee on 10/15/2013 in the amount of $75.00. Your confirmation number is *. Please allow up to two days for this transaction to be posted to your Common App Online account and for your payment status to be updated. If you have questions, please contact us using the 'help' link in the online application. If you have not done so, please complete and submit your application by the institutional deadline."

Though the problem is in this article it says that:
"When a user pays an application fee with a credit card, the system produces a “signature page,” where the card holder’s name must be typed to confirm the charge. But that page can take a day or more to show up, leading some users to try to pay multiple times. Worse yet, guidance and admissions counselors say that those who do not immediately see the signature page may be unaware of its existence and may never check back — in other words, they may think they have submitted college applications when they have not."
( <a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/13/education/online-application-woes-make-students-anxious-and-put-colleges-behind-schedule.html?_r=0%5B/url%5D">http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/13/education/online-application-woes-make-students-anxious-and-put-colleges-behind-schedule.html?_r=0</a> )

And that page is JUST NOT SHOWING UP FOR ME. Should I wait for two days or should I just send a message to common app?

Try again in a couple hours. It didn’t take 2 days for my DD.

I have paid the submission fees to two schools this weekend through the common app (and for one of them it double charged me), but I had the same issues as Brouhahah, it hasn’t let me submit. I sent a message to the common app on Sunday with screen prints of my payment confirmations, and they wrote me back that I have to wait at least 5 business days for the payment to clear before they will look into it or start a refund if it hasn’t already happened. They also said to just keep trying back on the preview & submit, that when your payment is “processed” that step will get the green check mark for you when you are trying to submit. (So far that hasn’t happened for me yet but I can’t actually get it to load the preview today.)

Hope you had better luck than me!

The same thing happened to me today. I submitted payments for 2 schools, but neither school has received my app. I’m frustrated because my deadline is slowly approaching…

12 hours passed since I submitted and it is still same… Animati0n, they seriously said “at least” 5 days?! I don’t have five days! I guess I will wait for another twelve hours and if the situation doesn’t ameliorate, I will send them an email.

I am having the same problem! I already made the payment and received the confirmation email, but it never directed me to the signature part. Now, if I hit submit again, it goes back to the PDF, and I can’t get past the payment stage.

How long it takes for colleges to get the application once application is submitted to Common app. ???

Theoretically, once submitted the college can immediately download and access common app materials.

It took 24 hours for the payment for one of my apps to process and the signature page to appear. I just kept opening the PDF and checking the terms and conditions box that came before the payment step in order to check. When is finally connected my payment to my account it would allow me to proceed to the signature page.

It took about 18 hours for my daughter to be able to press submit after entering payment information. She was not notified, just kept checking until she was able to do it. We are all learning incredible patience this year…

Ah finally! I just submitted everything. Woohoooo!

so i was able to submit my apps today. it takes approx 24 hours
