I currently have two subscriptions, but what will happen to my delivery when I go away for college? Is there a way to get the issues at college and also when I'm home during breaks?

It takes 6-8 weeks for magazine address changes so it is not worth the effort for breaks. Why don’t you switch to online subscriptions-better for the environment and you won’t miss an issue.

Probably not. I bet it would cost more fossil fuels to generate the electricity to support the massive servers that would be required to support the traffic of everyone who read the New Yorker or Cosmo if they all had to read it online. Even if it isn’t, it is sort of negligible difference and pointless battle, since it isn’t like they are being printed on an individual basis. It is just about making yourself “feel” good about helping out the environment.

Anyway, just change the address to your mailbox at college. I wouldn’t really worry about breaks, as Batllo said.

I’d just have my magazine subscriptions mailed to my college mailbox and would only switch back to my home address for the summer. The magazine should still be there after you get back from break.
