I'm currently a White (1/8 colombian) High School Senior at a Catholic H.S. on Long Island. I have an unweighted 91.33 average, ranked 55 out of 403, and have a 1340 SAT (cr+m) with no AP's or honors, because my school doesn't offer them but compensates with a much more rigorous curriculum. I'm active in my school's Stage Crew (building and working sets for school plays) Catholic League, Culinary Club, Library Service, and Sodality (Catholic discussion group). I am a Boy Scout, but not an Eagle Scout because I was snubbed of a potential Eagle Project I was working on for months, so I had to settle with finishing as a Life Scout, but I plan on applying for a Junior-Assistant Scoutmaster position in my troop. So, with that being said, I need to know if I can potentially qualify for the Magis Scholarship because without it, Fairfield is a no-go for me. My family can barely afford a SUNY price tag, and with our FAFSA I know that our EFC will be far off from what we could truly afford due to assets. If someone could give me an honest answer I'd appreciate it.
