Random question about mail: Should I have the Post Office forward all my mail to my address at school, actually change the address I have magazines etc. sent to, or just have my parents send it to me/get it when I do come home (however often that may be)?

The address is temporary. Unless it's a bill that you and only you can pay, I say have your parents save your mail at home. If you change it, you'll have to change it before you go, you'll miss gtting your mail while your home on breaks, you have to change it back when you move home or wherever next summer, and then it all starts over again this time next year. It's not worth the hassle if you ask me.

It depends, my address at school stays the same for all 4-5 years that I go there. If you have to change your address, then keep sending your mail to your rents. If it stays the same, its up to you...just remember you won't get mail on breaks if you plan on going home for the summer.

I changed my address to my school address because the box was for all 4 years, and they'll forward your mail to you over breaks (summer and holiday). I'd wait until you get to school, and see what the mail policies are for your school.

And also you may be sharing a mailbox with roommates or suitemates...
