Mail

When I took the mail out of the mailbox this morning, I noticed a fairly good-sized letter from the U of C. Immediately, I thought that it might be an early rejection letter (which is ridiculous now that I think of it, I mean, they probably haven't even opened my folder yet). But when I opened it, the first line of the letter said, "Congratulations!"

How cruel is that. For a moment, my heart leaped, as did my entire body.

It went on to say, congratulations on applying. Well, gee, thank you for the congratulations. Pfffff.

Hahahaha, yeah. Was it the package with the novelesque book on the courses? It baffled me before I opened it, too.

Funny thing happened.

I logged on to the online application (after applying), and on the screen it said "Welcome".

As soon as my Dad read that he thought that I had gotten in.
