<p>it is addressed to your dorm. the mail center at cornell will automatically send it to wherever your mail box is.</p>

if i got a package, inside my mailbox would be a slip of paper saying to pick it up at the desk. you show them your ID and the slip and then they give it to you. its a really good system, but keep in mind that the sorting of the mail takes longer, so a letter your parents send you will get to you about 3-5 days later than you would expect</p>
<p>What about large items that typically don’t fit in mailboxes?</p>

<p>for these larger items you will get a slip indicating that you have a package that you can pick up at the service center located next to the mailboxes…</p>
