Hello all, this is my first post on CC. This will be very long-winded and I apologize about that.

This is mainly directed at people experienced with Cal State admissions. I am looking to be an upper division transfer to another Cal State, I cannot continue to live outside of my home county and need to move before the end of the year.

My question is about the address portion of the CSU application. When they ask for permanent address I know they are talking about my home, and basically where any official paperwork would go to (tax forms, etc.). I know under the mailing address you have the option to use your permanent address or another address. So I was going to put my apartment down under my mailing address.

The question I have is, will my admission decision letter be sent to my mailing address or to my permanent address that I put on the application?

I know it makes sense that it would go to the mailing address, but I figure since its some form of official correspondence, that it may end up going to my permanent address.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks!

Nick
