Hey, can I just check - how should I give my mailing address for the school year?

Firstname Lastname

That's what they had us doing. Five-line addresses are a pain though... Basically as long as the room and hall are correct, they'll find you. The entire 08544 zip code is the Princeton University mail system, I believe, so as long as that's correct it should eventually get to you.

Cool :D. My, writing that down feels so, so awesome.

agh, more tiresome questions (filling out an app) - is there anyway to find out at this point what our room's telephone number will be?

type your name into the princeton people search on the website, it'll give it to you

actually, all you really need to write is:

name
123 hall
princeton, nj 08544

So the school has its own zip code?

thanks, I should have thought of the people search thing. duh!

Yeah, I'd not be surprised the shorter version works, jtiger.

For anyone who's wondering, they forward mail home or elsewhere over the summers, and you'll get a mailbox in Frist for your junior and senior year.

So for freshman and sophomore year, the mailboxes are in our res college? Like, we do get a box right...not just "here pick out your mail in this big pile"?

you get a mailbox for your room (or suite) which is opened withthe key to your room. If you have a large suite (more than 4 ppl) you get 2 mailboxes, although the same keys open both. So both you and your roomie(s) will get combinedmail.
