I was curious if anyone knew how you would know when they received your letter and when/if they make the changes. I ask because I'm sure a lot of people probably mail them regarding changes. If there a confirmation email of the change or anything because I can't view that section in my application status login.

If it helps I just had to change my IGETC certified response to no. It was in the academic history section therefore I had to mail it to the uc application processing po box. Thanks in advance.

Still waiting for a reply :[

Hate to bring this thread back but I have a similar question. Is there actually a way to know if the individual schools get the changes we notify them of? I’d hate to send in records that reflect the changes I’ve mailed to them only to find that they never got those changes, and therefore would jeopardize my acceptance because of the “discrepancies.”

spacedog,

I don’t know of the procedures of other schools, but for UCB, it says on myBerkeleyApp that they make no guarantee that your changes will be matched with your application. This is due to the high volume of mail they receive in regards to changes. However, I do not think this applies to changes in personal information, as those can be updated through the app status website and will appear changed there.

For UCLA, I received an email stating that they have received my changes.

^ Was that email after you sent a letter or an email? I sent an email and got an auto-reply email from them, nothing yet after sending the signed letter though. It’s out of my hands at this point though so I’m not too concerned really
