For Rachie or anyone else “on the inside” - do you know when decisions will be mailed? The website posts a “notification” date of Dec. 20 but I think the mailing is earlier. For the college that notify online, they usually post decisions the day after decisions are mailed. But Bates has no online notification.
So, does anyone know the mailing date for sure??

yup, me too wondering about that. Most of the other LAC's have 15th Dec as the reply date and online notification too.

By the way wtidad, did ya get any letter of any sort??? I read somewhere here on CC that they send "likely letters" to accepted students. I havent got any(:() so was wondering if anyone got 'em.

BackinBlue - Don't worry about not gertting a likely letter. They are used primarily by the eight Ivy League schools for the purposes of athletic recruiting; they was to give assurance of later admission to some recruited athletes because their competitors - Division I scholarship schools - have scholarship "letters of intent" Bates and the other NESCAC schools do not use the likely letter.

Heard through the grapevine that Bates ED letters were mailed Wednesday. Good luck, everyone!

really????? nice.........hmm............So it shud reach here by maybe Friday??Saturday???

Best of Luck all. thumbsups

My kid's acceptance arrived Priority Mail on Friday, Dec. 16!

Hey, congratulations!

Congragulations Wtidad! I'm sure you must be very proud. If you don't mind I'd greatly appreciate it if you would tell me your child's statistics such as grades, ec's, tests, etc. You don't have to identify him or her of course. I want to know so that I can asses my chances at Bates for ED II. By the way, I'm not submitting SATs so I'm wondering if your child did or did not. I'd greatly appreciate your response!
