If you were to major in CS/Financial Math at Umich LSA would it be relatively easy to maintain a 3.5+ gap??

relative to what?

Relative to a cs or financial math program on it’s own not the double major @nubswithtubs

financial math is not particularly difficult at umich, and the number of additional courses that it’ll require (beyond just doing the CS major) is not very many.

what majors are “difficult”? @nubswitstubs

to clarify – the difficulty of the vast majority of majors is dependent on which courses students select as electives. the bare minimum requirements for most majors are almost never difficult to complete. so when i said financial math is not particularly difficult, i meant the courses that all financial math majors are required to take. obviously, a financial math student could choose to take grad math courses to satisfy the major requirements, which would make the major more difficult, but those courses are not required. the only major that i’m aware of that has difficult major requirements is honors math

Just to clarify on this, it’s not that many more classes if you’re doing CS-LSA to add a financial math major. It is a lot if you’re doing CSE to add a math major.
