"maintaining reported overall GPA"?

Last semester my grades were:

01-MLTIMED PRD1 (Fall08) 95 / A
02-ENGLISH 7 (Fall08) 91 / A-
03-JAZZ BAND (Fall08) 100 / A+
04-SPANISH 5 (Fall08) 87 / B+
05-AMER GOVT 1 (Fall08) 91 / A-
06-AP STAT (Fall08) 94 / A

Now my grades are:

01-MLTIMED PRD2 (Spg09) 96 / A
02-ENGLISH 8 (Spg09) 95.92 / A
03-JAZZ BAND (Spg09) 100 / A+
04-SPANISH 6 (Spg09) 78 / C+
05-ECONOMICS 1 (Spg09) 91 / A-
06-AP STAT (Spg09) 87 / B+

Two main changes are that my spanish grade and AP Statistics grades have lowered one whole letter grade.

Cal Poly says: "You complete all coursework designated on your application as "in progress" or "planned" with a grade of "C" or better in addition to maintaining your reported overall grade point average."

Am I still going to Cal Poly? Or do I have to have the same GPA as first semester? My parents are going nuts right now and are convinced I'm going to fail at life. Help please!

You’re not failing a class; you’re not even close. Relax and enjoy yourself.

so that whole “you have to have the same GPA” thing is bologna?

What, as if they are going to revoke your admissions if your GPA drops from a 94to, say, a 90 during the second half of your senior year? No college would do that.

Ok, well thanks for your help =)
