Maintaining senior GPA

I received a letter from a Cal State school I applied to, saying that I got admitted but I'd have to maintain my reported overall GPA. However, my overall GPA is a 3.8, does that mean it's definitely required for me to maintain that? Can't I just maintain a 3.0 for this year?

A 3.0 is a significant dip, but I don't think they'd revoke your admission based on it. However, you have no reason to risk this knowing that they can pull kids off of waitlists that continued to work throughout their senior year. Keep your grades up.
