Major AIS, Minor Accounting good combination?

Well this is my first post! Thank you for your responses in advance.

Currently I am taking classes with the intention of the option in Majoring in Accounting. Recently I've been hearing about the benefits of going AIS over Accounting. Problem is I would have to take a couple more lower division classes to declare the AIS major which would most likely add an additional semester. Would this combination be worth doing it? Money really isn't an issue and I don't mind the extra time at school. If I chose to go this path I would probably make Accounting the minor because some of the classes I've taken meet the Minor requirements.

Also is this Major/Minor combination good? Or does it look too bland.

Thank you.

I didn’t read your whole post, but no. AIS has most accounting courses at the school I went too. Pointless combination.

No one cares what you minor in.

They only care about the major.

That’s it.

There is no way that it’s worth spending another semester paying tuition instead of making money.

what is AIS
