Hi Im a junior in Aerospace at Georgia Tech, I am also doing a minor in management, I was wondering if graduate schools look at my minor courses...I have not been doing well in them, in fact I have been getting As in most of my Aerospace courses and Bs in most of my minor courses....I am worried about this factor when applying to graduate school. My cumulative GPA now is 3.55. Also, I am looking towards Caltech, Stanford, and MIT for Graduate school in Aerospace.

Thanks

I got pretty much all Bs in my minor (physics) and still wound up at Caltech. Yours will probably matter even less since your major isn’t even a technical subject and the management classes probably won’t factor a whole lot in your research.

Your right, so do most grad schools look for a lot of research? I am entering my 3rd semester of research. I am also starting research with two different AE professors.

If you’re planning on getting a PhD you’re essentially going to be working as a research scientist for 4-6 years, so they’re mostly concerned with your research skills and potentials.
