I'm only flirting with the idea of a major and two minors. I plan to major in Biology (pursuing medicine) and also wanted to minor in some type of business/financial course and spanish (bilingual physician). Do you think this is too much? If I do, I definitely won't being doing the two minors as a Freshman. I'll atleast wait to see if I can handle them. I know I can always take Spanish and Business courses at community colleges. Do any of you have something in addition to your major? Is it overwhelming?

Oh, and I had a question about the business minor. I noticed that there's a lot of different business courses universities offer (Financial Affairs, Innovation and Entreprenuership, Economic and Business Research, etc) - they vary from school to school. I want to start my own business in the future and I was also interested in real estate/investing. Which business minor should I look into?

I have a major with 2 minors.. i didn't have any problem completing it.. i'm a business major with minors in visual communications and photography. does your school have language requirements for you to take while in college? if so, some of your courses for your spanish major may overlap with them - less additional courses you have to take. second, as a business major, it depends what kind of business you would like to start. if i were you i would lean towards a minor in entrepreneurial studies (that is what it's called at my school) the classes that they must take at my college are as follows: principles of marketing, principles of management, entrepreneurship, small business ventures, and then choose two from the following - leadership and change, sales management, business law........ that covers the basic ideas of starting a business..

It depends on which school you go to, so make sure you ask when you visit places (it sounds like you haven't decided where you are going yet). I know that at my college, only the genius' double major and there are only one or two minors to choose from.

Remember, you can always take the classes without getting the minor itself. Most of the time, for your first job you list relevant courses on your resume, so you don't need the minor to show that you have experience. Then, after your first or second job, no one will care what you minored in in college.

Thanks guys :)
I really don't know which college I'm going to yet..I'm still waiting on responses from all to which I applied. Wherever I'm accepted, I'll discuss this with my academic counselor(s).
